When it comes to Italian cinema, Paolo Sorrentino sets the bar for me. Anything that doesn't come close to his work just doesn’t grab my attention. Security is a dull, uninspiring, and at times downright irritating thriller that embodies everything that’s missing from quality filmmaking. It’s a weak, below-average effort that’s destined to disappear into the depths of Netflix's catalog without much notice.
