Nathan látszólag boldogabb már nem is lehetne, van szerető felesége, csodaszép háza és remek munkája. Belülről azonban évek óta eszi egy sötét emlék, egy tragikus végű éjszaka árnya, amely egy zenés-táncos bulival indult és egy fiatal nő halálával végződött. Once again, I'm reminded that the Brits really nail these short miniseries. The Sister is another great example, delivering a complex story of a long-ago murder in just under four hours. The finale didn’t bother me at all. The entire series was fantastically suspenseful right up to the end, standing out from typical crime dramas with its mysterious twist. Even though the ending was a bit overcomplicated, I didn’t mind it at all.

The first two episodes indeed have a mysteriously dark and almost ghostly atmosphere, but that's almost nothing compared to the tension in the third and fourth episodes, where the suspense is palpable. I haven't seen such a good mystery drama in a long time. However, it's no wonder when Niall MacCormick, who directed the excellent miniseries The Victim, took the director's chair. In addition, both series have great acting performances by the leads. (85%)
