A 19 éves Ben Hassi őrizetbevételének pontos részletei továbbra sem tisztázottak, a helyi közösségen belül azonban óriási felháborodást keltett az állítólagos rendőri túlkapás. Az egyik érintett rendőr, Mike valamint új társa rutinszerűen járőröznek Svalegården gettójában, amikor Hassi halálhíre érkezik a rádión keresztül és a környék valóságos háborús övezetté változik. angol I’ve always enjoyed these gritty, guerrilla-style escape films, even if this one happens to be set in Copenhagen. Sure, there are a few plot holes, but I'm not about to write it off, especially since it tackles relevant issues of our time. The fact that one of the cops is an outright racist adds layers to the story, sparking questions on both sides. Add in the tension, action, and sheer shock value of what unfolds, and you’ve got a film that, for me, stands out as one of the first Danish movies to openly confront the country's current challenges. angol The Danish reaction to the French Les Misérables it’s an intense and adrenaline-packed ride! The story focuses on two policemen on patrol who don't like each other much, but they don't know that one of the worst nights awaits them. After a 19-year-old Arab dies from police brutality, riots break out in the local ghetto where they happen to be. The film has a gripping pace, the young Arabs are unpleasant and uncompromising, the Danish ghetto feels like hell on earth, I wouldn't even leave the house to shop. There is shooting, running, hiding, a dense atmosphere, tension that never wanes, no help, and the chances of survival are slim. Denmark hits another success after Riders of Justice. It feels like a film based on real events, but unfortunately I haven't read that anywhere. angol Being a police officer in the multicultural ghettos of present-day Copenhagen is no picnic, and when you add a little fuel to the already heated and explosive environment, along with a larger dose of bad luck, beautiful chaos erupts, and a peaceful service suddenly turns into a fight for life. In the context of the action genre, where, let's be honest, creators usually don't consider a quality script important for action-packed entertainment (sometimes I feel like they completely give up on the script), Enforcement is a very good genre film. It is a provocative, morally ambiguous adrenaline-fueled ride supported by a menacing soundtrack that permeates through the concrete jungle, where you are surrounded by hatred and with a partner whom you can't fully trust. If the director had refrained from a few concessions to the popcorn-eating audience, it could have been a five-star film because it is excellently directed and acted. Overall impression: 85%. ()

angol This is probably what a brilliantly shot and acted film about the pressing problems of contemporary society should be, drawing attention to a corrupt morality where good and evil cannot be clearly defined. This is a very similar theme to the one explored in Les Misérables, but I get the nagging feeling that Enforcement is superior to the French film in many ways. The plot of this film, concerning the death of a dark-skinned young man after the brutal intervention of the guards, which leads to the outbreak of riots in the Copenhagen ghetto, seems much more realistic to me. Mostly, however, I felt as if I was in that impasse with the two policemen myself, and to tell you the truth, it didn't make me feel good at all. Moreover, I was almost constantly tense to the point of bursting regarding how it would all turn out. The final denouement surprised me. I have to say that it didn't disappoint me in the least, quite the contrary. (90%) ()
