Entertaining, funny, playful, here and there informative and even truthful, with bits of reality, but in every angle as cinematically polished as possible. A must-see for people in the industry, for others it will be a weekend treat that won't offend and, except for a few delicious passages with Samuel L Jackson, probably won't even completely delight. We can expect some interesting and ambitious stuff from Apple production in the future, and Banker certainly didn't disgrace them in any way.

The subject is certainly worth attention, but the fact that primarily three stars flicker in the reviews indicates that this is another in a series of average Hollywood stories. Anthony Mackie, Samuel L. Jackson, and Nicholas Hoult are certainly a well-balanced cast, but at times I felt that the film is best described as - total routine.
