Mókuska és a varázskagyló

The movie of my childhood. I wanted so badly to be Kačenka. I admit that for a fairy tale, the squirrel is a bit depressing, but I could still see it several times and never get tired of it. (2011.01.30)

This movie is just weird, but it has a peculiar charm, which is also due to the acting of the individual actors, especially the child actors. It's poetic, yet at the same time, it's quite dark and even horror-like at times. It’s a strange blend of fairy tale elements, but as I say, it somehow works because, at the very least, it leaves you unsettled, which is what the film aims to achieve. (2014.11.28)
