angol The final episode, or rather the last half of it (starting from the explosion), was on a completely different level in terms of animation and atmosphere compared to the rest of the series. Another standout moment was the stylish "Jackson's entrance to the villa," which the creators clearly knew was a hit, as they featured it at the end of episode seven and the beginning of episode eight. I could watch that scene on repeat, and in reverse, just to see Jackson moonwalk out of there. Honestly, that one sequence alone elevates the fourth season from mediocrity, where this otherwise standard training arc would have landed (except for the animation and camera work, which were consistently excellent). Seven episodes of muscle-building, showcasing buff, shirtless men pushing their limits – a real treat for any gym enthusiast! We also got to meet all the Hashira, with the stone monk voiced by Tomokazu Sugita standing out the most. The training methods were a bit peculiar, and the typical Demon Slayer humor didn't quite hit for me – maybe I'm too old or too cool for it now. However, the season ends with a fantastic teaser for the upcoming movie trilogy, promising more excitement to come. To reiterate, the last ten minutes of the final episode are so outstanding in terms of animation that it will be a long time before any other anime can match it (probably not until ufotable's next film). It's mainly because of these ten minutes (and Muzan) that I'm giving this season a 7/10 instead of a six, or maybe six and a half. ()
