angol This is a pretty average action thriller, with some almost sci-fi elements, which isn't great, but it's tolerable. Ethan Hawke is the type to give even a fairly ordinary action character a little something extra, and so, along with him, you can put up with this otherwise fairly ordinary ride, which has a few good scenes but isn't great as a whole. angol This was really good. Ethan Hawke has one of the most interesting roles of his career, and I wouldn't have thought he'd fit into an action movie role so nicely. The film has an original plot, very good pacing, R-rated action, though there aren’t any big fights, the shootouts are perfect, suspenseful, well shot and there are plenty of them. For me, great adrenaline fun. Similar B-movies could come out more often. 80%. ()

angol An above-average action flick that couldn’t go wrong. When I first saw the trailer, it didn’t appeal to me because it looked cheap. But don’t be fooled, the action scenes are expertly done, the car chases are also well-executed, and the shootouts don’t skimp on the bloody scenes. And above all, nothing, absolutely nothing, feels cheap. You can clearly see the influence of the producers of John Wick, who took on this film (it is still pretty crazy). Ethan Hawke has always been one of my favorites; it’s a pity that he’s not as frequently utilized nowadays because he still has a lot to offer. I must admit, however, that the story doesn’t qualify as above average; it follows the same old formula and doesn’t try to shock with a surprising twist (the only thing I didn’t understand was Hawke’s revival and subsequent attempt to neutralize him). On the other hand, the film has a unique pace; unlike its competitors, there’s always something happening, constant shooting, constant explosions, more shooting, and so on. The ending leaves you looking forward to a possible sequel. It might not have been enough for me in the past, but today I appreciate films that entertain and keep you engaged. 24 Hours to Live definitely falls into this category. I give it 74%. ()
