This industrial film by the Schicht factory in Ústí nad Labem is representative of the "visit" (or company tour) form of corporate presentation. The film follows the soap-making process within the context of the overall factory operations – boiling, shaping, cutting, stamping with the logo, packaging and expediting. The Schicht factory was one of Czechoslovakia's most active producers of its own industrial films. These were used primarily to document the company's work, but also for promotional purposes at industrial expositions. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
