Új-Mexikó gyönyörű szélesvásznú sivatagai, a szofisztikált rosszfiú Michael Douglas tökös 6x6-os Mercedes G63-asával és a fiatal Jeremy Irvine, akinek a sorozatokba illó arcával nem fogod elhinni sivatagi stoppos szerepét. A film szórakoztató macska-egér játékot játszik, de a végén az olcsó B-kategóriás filmekre jellemző ostobaságokkal lehúzza magát. (2020.10.28)

An enjoyable survival film with two likeable actors. Michael Douglas as the bad guy enjoys the role perfectly and it suits him (more roles like this!). The plot is more or less simple, but that absolutely doesn't matter, because the film manages to grab your attention with other attributes, such as the harsh desert landscape and decent atmosphere. For my taste, the film is not very violent and there could have been more flourishes, which I consider the only major downside. Surprising finale. 65%. (2015.04.19)

Michael Douglas as we like him best, a smarmy, self-centered millionaire financier. Only that, instead of Gwyneth Paltrow, this time he has a no less charming big-ass Mercedes, but otherwise this attempt at genre survival is rather a train wreck. Jeremy Irvine's character is often odd – or rather, his actions are severely illogical, and there are more scenes that occasionally fail to make sense than the classic viewer expecting an entertaining game of cat and mouse would be willing to forgive. Michael Douglas really enjoys this negative role, and I enjoyed his performance and the whole story. It's nothing groundbreaking, it's straightforward and clear, but now and then you can really feel the suffering the other character is going through. Suffering that seems like it may never end. But in the end, it does end, and it's in that expected and rightful spirit. (2015.05.18)
