Az Ilsa, She Wolf of the SS című film egy híres sokkoló alkotás, de közel sem olyan sokkoló, mint amilyennek hirdeti magát. Szexből sok van benne és eléggé nyitott is, de az erőszak és a vér, mivel abból is bőven van belőle, nem túl csiklandós. Mert - maga a film borzasztóan naiv, amatőr és unalmas. A gyenge színészi játék és a képtelen rendezés lehetetlenné teszi, hogy sem a főszereplő, sem a barikád túloldalán álló mellékszereplők bőrébe bújjunk, ami pedig a hangulatot illeti, a láger udvara üresen tátong. Forgatókönyvileg a film rendben van - a mértékletes játékidő, az erőszak és a szex sűrűsége elég lett volna egy rendes adag perverz szórakozáshoz. De valaki ügyesebbnek kellett volna a filmet rendezni.

“I love you! You need to empty yourself on me!” It’s hard to dedicate something to the victims of the Holocaust while holding your penis in your hand, Mr. Edmonds. His Fifty Shades of Shoah might be intriguing for connoisseurs who strangle their wife with the garter belt of the Luftwaffe’s top commander during sex at home, but I found it affected, occasionally unintentionally funny, and surprisingly dull given the subject matter. The developed camp leader reminded me a bit of Major Houlihan from *M*A*S*H*, perhaps because she was looking for Donald Penobscott, who digs tunnels (not for escape purposes).

This is one of those movies where you get exactly what you expect. It's a B-movie, essentially low-budget, but it's not as brutal as some Chinese or Japanese pieces. It's actually quite restrained, which allows the viewer to focus on the excessive nudity, and yet it remains modest. It's not a shocking film, but for fans of debauchery, it's still entertaining.
