V1: The Hunters of Carnivorous Bitches

The title sounds beautifully B-movie-esque, which in amateur production in the Czech Republic itself raises quite a few doubts. The resulting effect is that one’s fears are confirmed. In terms of effects, it's nothing special; the gore in all the other films in Pionýři hororu (Pioneers of Horror) is better. There was a lot of effort put into making the film look cheap, like a genuine bad B-movie. There's one pretty good joke involving hands, but otherwise, this isn't something that grabbed my attention. Unfortunately, the actors are again the ones who somewhat spoil it. (2014.03.27)
