The actors are just weird. Not just the one playing the autistic character, but pretty much everyone. Both the children and adults. The digital camera doesn't help either. It's about baseball, and only great movies are made about baseball, right? Well, as it turns out, they're pretty ordinary. This is a film for all generations, offering a relatively relaxing 80 minutes of entertainment. While it does evoke some emotions, they feel more forced than naturally arising from the story. Why is baseball so associated with God, anyway? Does it have something to do with the fact that the players are trying to hit the ball into his groin? As nice as it is, this is not a movie I would watch a second time.
