Brandon Beckett (Chad Collins), a híres mesterlövész fia az ENSZ-rendfenntartóknál teljesít szolgálatot a Kongói Demokratikus Köztársaságban. Parancsot kap, hogy a csapatával mentsen ki egy fehér farmert, aki csapdába esett a lázadók területén. Amikor megérkeznek a farmra, egy rejtélyes orvlövész veszi tűz alá őket, Beckettet megsebesíti, mindenki mást pedig megöl. Apja korábbi pártfogójának, a mesterlövész oktató Richard Miller (Billy Zane) segítségével Brandonnak meg kell tanulnia az ellenfele fejével gondolkodni. Csak így győzheti le őt, és találhatja meg azt, aki a parancsokat adja. (Film+)

It's a bit of an action mashup, but it's quite nice that it still sticks to the original premise. Billy Zane is back, although definitely don't watch it because of him. Even though he's first on the poster, he gets very little screen time. The story revolves around the son of the original sniper, and it must be said that he’s grown up now. This also contributed to the lack of originality in the story, which also lacks strong moments.

Sniper 4 feels like you're watching an action-packed video game come to life. The action sequences are a bit unconventional, but still pretty entertaining. Billy Zane proves once again that he's got what it takes to shine in action movies. Sure, there are a few moments that don’t make a lot of sense, but I didn’t really mind. It’s a full-on B-movie, no doubt about it. One minute a sniper’s bullet goes clean through a guy, practically tearing him in half, and the next it takes six shots to take down another. But hey, that’s part of the fun!
