In Pizze a credito, Sophia Loren is a beautiful pizza maker determined to cheat on her husband. In I giocatori, Vittorio De Sica is an impoverished nobleman and gambling addict who is reduced playing cards with the janitor’s son. In Teresa, Silvana Mangano is a prostitute from the Castelli Romani whom a handsome and rich young suitor wants to marry.
