angol A weaker film by Vejdělek, but still better than average by Czech standards. The direction is pleasant and at times even imaginative (the psychologist Helena confesses to herself), the actresses and actors really act (except Jiří Macháček, who annoyed me). The casting of Lenka Vlasáková was a great idea and Vojtěch Dyk - their performances are second to none. No, not even Eliška Balzerová, whose much-talked-about "acting genius" lies only in the fact that she does and says things that no one would expect her to. The script could have avoided many of the cheap jokes. ()

magyar Egy rokonszenves, frappáns pihentető film, egy leheletnyi kiegyensúlyozott tragikomédiával. A hétvégi házhoz való hétvégi kiruccanás helyett tökéletes, esős időjárás esetén kiváló. Vejdělek és Hoffman tudják, hogy mit és kinek forgatnak, és ezt könnyedén és ízléssel teszik. ()

angol A huge surprise for me!! Funny and even imaginative. Lenka Vlasáková hit the mark and Eliška Balzerová was pumping out line after line. My only regret is that Macháček didn't get much screen time. Otherwise, a nice, modern Czech comedy:-) ()

angol I was quite surprised by how watchable this was; three hungry ladies on the hunt for some fun. A good gag here and there, and some pretty good acting performances. Everything ended up more or less as I expected, but a couple of story twists had me pleasantly surprised. A fine chill-out. ()

angol So this is the legendary crude attack on the already low level of Czech cinema? And I'm still wondering where it had been hiding. Eliška Balzerová forgot herself in the theater and Vojtěch Dyk is becoming the new universal bedfellow of Czech cinema. He’s such a wonderful young man and already an actor! Isn't it wonderful, girls? Combined with the unusually awkward Macháček, it's a real treat. It gets a point purely for promoting the antique shop Bělehradská Street. ()

angol Jiří Vejdělek gave us a truly remarkable and by Czech standards quite above average film, which despite its title is not only for the ladies, but also for the gentlemen. The film radiates a dynamic and slick atmosphere, the plot moves along and the number of dead ends could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Technically, I have nothing to fault the film, as I liked the soundtrack and the cinematography. Vejdělek as a screenwriter came up with some pretty racy speeches and he didn't disappoint. And then there are only the actors, and I have no complaints. They were perfect for their roles and of course I must not forget to highlight Eliška Balzerová, who is graceful in every way. In short, after a long time, a proper Czech film, the kind of which more should be made. I really had fun!!! ()

angol Definitely one of the best comedies of recent times. "Men in Hope" is quite weak compared to it. The humor here is sometimes quite forced, but mostly it works well, mainly thanks to the female performers who were incredibly well chosen. Eliška Balzerová showed what a lady she is and how wonderfully she can act, but even more surprised me Lenka Vlasáková, whom unfortunately I haven't seen in anything decent since then. The film, which I underestimated, strongly and pleasantly surprised me. ()
