I was looking forward to another slaughter with Kane and I am definitely not disappointed. The film ticks along nicely and surprisingly doesn't have too many boring passages. There are a few decent gore scenes here, but it must be said that I expected more blood, cutting, and torture from the Soska Sisters. The most entertaining for me was the overacting Katharine Isabelle, whose character was beautifully perverse and crazy, in this performance Katharine is simply irresistible. Throughout, I was more or less satisfied with what was served to me and I enjoyed it, but then came the ending, which really kicked my satisfaction in the balls. I still can't understand what the hell that was supposed to mean?! I really didn't expect such a rushed ending after a solid course, so I have to go down by one star in the rating than I originally intended. Still, I hope that Kane won't give up on it and we will at least see him break bones, break down doors, and gouge eyes out once more. (2018.05.19)

See No Evil 2 isn't a slasher film that significantly impacts the genre or brings anything new. It's a horror film that plays with what it has and doesn't try to do anything more. It's about slaughter and escape, presented exactly in the form you expect and want. As a bonus, you get fairly tolerable characters as well. I have to say, though, the gore did disappoint me a bit because I expected a bit more from the Soska sisters. Overall, the film held up quite well, and I enjoyed it. (2014.10.28)
