Ahol Harold (John Cho) és Kumar (Kal Penn) feltűnik, ott vége a nyugalomnak. Ezúttal Amszterdam felé veszik az irányt, ám problémájuk támad a biztonsági őrökkel, amikor a repülőgépre megpróbálják fölcsempészni a vízipipájukat. A két terroristagyanús fickó végül a Guantanamo Bay-i fogolytáborban köt ki. Persze az első adandó alkalommal meglépnek. Eszelős utazás veszi kezdetét, melynek során talán sikerül bebizonyítani ártatlanságukat. Miközben megállás nélkül menekülnek, a belevaló csajokról sem feledkeznek meg. (RTL Klub)

Az első rész nem ezt érdemelte. John Cho és Kal Penn most is szuperek, és a köztük lévő buddy chemistry még mindig remekül működik, de a humor többnyire egy kategóriával lejjebb van. Különösen vonal a kormányügynökökkel fuldoklik a kínosságban és görcsökben. Néhányszor azért nevettem, és az alul semmi buli és a záró amszterdami képeslap élvezetes volt. De ha ez nem lenne, 2 csillagot sem adnék neki.

The desperate sequence of illogicalities and awkward coincidences is at least somewhat offset by the occasional twinge of a good joke and a great cameo by N. P. Harris. Yet the rest is the opposite of the first film, which benefited from the atmosphere of a stoner adventure. That’s because this is just a dull road movie where the Cuba-Texas route promised much more than a few farting, fisting a pack of weed, and a faint wink at political incorrectness. It’s a missed opportunity and sparks fears of the planned third film.

It's not quite the same anymore. Right from the start, we get fecal jokes that just aren't funny. However, these two characters, simply because you see them a second time, become quite lovable. Or something to that effect. They are tolerable, which is definitely a good thing because otherwise, it would be unwatchable. Some of the jokes are good, but there aren't many. Kumar is quite annoying in this episode, but of course, he saves the day in the end. It's also a terrible cliché in places.
