Tina (Lar Park Lincoln), a telekinetic mental patient, travels back to Crystal Lake for some therapy that will allow her to transcend the tragic death of her father--whom she inadvertently killed with her mental powers. While staying at the campsite, Tint inadvertently frees Jason from his watery tomb with the same powers, and the masked madman proceeds to make chop suey out of the countryside and all its inhabitants. Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood has a story that is quite positive - it deals with relationships, has some meaningful characters, and of course, it has the unstoppable killer who somehow fits into all of it with some crazy logic. It might not be to everyone's taste, but it's definitely one of those installments in the series worth watching, and it shouldn't completely bore you. You just need to have at least a little love for B-movie productions.

With only one inventive murder (the sleeping bag), but with a bunch of unsympathetic characters (kill them all!), an idiotic script (telekinesis), and general impotence, this is a piece of filmmaking that makes the title of the film a logo of losers and the viewer a moron. Both in full force, bravo!
