A szimpatikus lúzer megpróbál beilleszkedni új családjába, ahol zsarnok nejének három fivére kétes családi bizniszeket bonyolít. A reménytelen helyzetben váratlan fénysugár tűnik fel, amikor felbukkan Norbit gyermekkori szerelme, Kate. (UIP-Duna Film)

angol I certainly don't claim that Norbit is the dumbest and most tasteless film of all time, but it would definitely be a strong contender for such a title... This travesty isn't worth a more detailed comment, but I will note that participating in such flops stalled Eddie Murphy's once-promising acting career. Overall impression: zero. ()

angol I loved Eddie Murphy when I was a child, but I cannot understand what happened with him throughout the time. To be honest, I’ve avoided Norbit for a long time. In the end I forced myself to watch it on TV and it was exactly what I thought it to be. Eddie smugly made a movie in which he played most of the roles. Maybe to outdo the Nutty Professor, where the first instalment was still pretty good. Here and there it was funny, but mostly it was just really embarrassing. The one star is for the costumes. At times I could not recognize Eddie at all. Especially not as the ugly fat lady. ()

angol I have to admit I didn't recognize Eddie, so bravo to the mask! And I have one more thing to confess... I was rolling in laughter the whole time. We all have different senses of humor, don't we? 3.5 stars. ()

angol Eddie Murphy, hammering the nails into his acting coffin with his latest roles, stars in a new wacky American disguise comedy where he once again plays more than one role. Just the way he likes it, which not many people share. I'd see this as being between the first and second The Nutty Professor in quality. And what's the 2 stars for? Well I laughed a couple of times and then mainly for the Rasputia costume, which looked a little too real at times. ()

angol I must admit, after all the bad reviews and negative opinions I’ve read, I expected a much worse film. I'm not saying it's a great success; it's still a bad film, just not as bad as I thought it would be. Norbit is actually quite an interesting character. The fact that Eddie Murphy revels in silly humor is just his thing. I didn't laugh, but it still intrigued me enough to watch it till the end. Maybe it's also because the story is such a cliché, but at least you know what you're getting. ()
