One big cliché that you can sit through but likely won’t enjoy anymore. I’m giving 2 stars for the great beginning, which cracked me up quite a bit. Anna Faris was rather embarrassing as a loudmouthed screaming singer. Ryan Reynolds kind of survives with a cramp in his face. Nothing new, nothing innovative... rather boring. The well-known cliché: he's not very handsome and he loves her, which she doesn't reciprocate. Years later, he's a showman who thinks he conquer all, even her. Ryan Reynolds wasn’t that good, but Anna Faris entertained and delighted me again. Nothing new or groundbreaking - 50%. (2010.01.01)

As much as I like Ryan Reynolds, even he can't save the quality, which is pretty low, in this crappy romantic comedy. It follows the classic template, it's extremely predictable, and the few quite good and funny scenes really won't save it. It's a shame, there might have been some potential here, but it wasn't utilized. (2017.02.18)
