Ben (Sean Biggerstaff) egy fájdalmas szakítás óta álmatlanságtól szenved, ezért dolgozni kezd a helyi szupermarketben. Éjjel a boltban rengeteg színes egyéniséggel találkozik. Unalmas óráiban elképzeli, hogy megállítja az időt, és ennek segítségével, hacsak pár percig is, saját fantáziájában él. Ebben a világban munkatársai és a szürke hétköznapok is egy csapásra színessé válnak. Különösen a csendes pénztáros lány, Sharon (Emilia Fox), aki talán megoldást jelenthet Ben álmatlanságára. An enjoyable British comedy with offbeat actors, time stopping and the most naked women I've ever seen in a film, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The icing on the cake is the naked Swedish woman on the stairs, or the little girl showing her pussy to the boys for a pound, that's what I call business! :D 75%

A romantic movie with fairly unusual storytelling. It isn’t very often that you get to hear philosophizing about life and the real meaning of love. Plus, Sean Biggerstaff’s acting is amazing and sucks you into a story where time stands still.

Another great British production with a really original premise, a great, funny and likeable cast, and a really pumped up soundtrack. The DVD cover is really misleading. When I first saw it, I thought all sorts of things but not that I would be so pleasantly surprised by this film. The running time is optimal, I wasn't bored, and aside from a few cracks, this is a great film that doesn't lack wit, romance, drama, all under the guise of mystery.
