Ugye mindenki emlékszik még a Toy Story - Játékháború című, korszakváltást jelző rajzfilmre, s abban Woody és Buzz Lightyear szédületes kalandjaira? Hát most itt a folytatás! Although this is rather dated in comparison to its younger brothers in technical terms, but it is still the best that Pixar has yet rolled out in terms of feature length movies. Which, given how humdrum part one was, is a very pleasant surprise. The pace and frequency of jokes is boundless. And, as a bonus, we get the outtakes during the closing credits (Bug’s Life 2 is outstanding). ()
A sequel that is almost equally good to the now legendary first Toy Story. This film is ten years old and its animation, inventiveness and playfulness is yet to be surpassed (except by Pixar). Fascinating. Plus I love all the Star Wars references and especially the one to Jurassic Park. ()
A solid sequel that has everything: old-school adventure nostalgia, great humour, superb animation and fun genre references, and also gives new perspective to the coexistence of the toys and their fate in human lives. The storyline with the rescuers and the brilliant secondary characters is a lot funnier perhaps, but the new faces around Woody fit well and their story not only looks good (the beautiful scene with the toy repairman), but also merge perfectly into the original action-packed climax. This series has an upwards trend, something I believe the amazing third part confirmed. 90% ()
The second installment of the toy series not only keeps from spoiling the reputation of the brilliant original, but also references it, remembers it, and transfers its ideas into new twists and grander intentions. Instead of going to the pizzeria and to the neighbors, this time we go a good distance further, we experience one sincere tear-invoking moment, and we might even see Zurg. Ideas are raining down from Pixar, and the older I get, the more I shake my head in amazement at how everything can fit together so perfectly like this. ()
The sequel to the hugely successful animated film hasn't lost an ounce of its quality, elegance and perfection and I had a pretty solid time again. In terms of the story, both films are very similar, about rescuing a friend is. I really liked the references to various other great films like Jurassic Park and Geri's Game. The film is again complete with great music, funny lines and Rex was once again a gem. And adding the “bloopers” at the end was a really smart move. In short, a sequel that is equally funny and great. ()
