The X from Outer Space is unfortunately another example of how in Japan in the 1960s, kaiju films were quite popular, so studios tried to have their own monster for each one. While The X from Outer Space takes place in space, it's quite passable and watchable, but once we're back on Earth, the film turns into a typical kaiju flick, which isn't interesting anymore and at times can be quite boring. The fight with the humans isn't great either.
